COSTA MESA, California – October 1, 2002 –
OKTO Ophtho, the premier developer and distributor of specialty

Juan F. Batlle to the OKTO Surgical Advisory Board.

and immunological importance of utilizing preserved amniotic membrane
wherein the cells and antigens had been killed, in order to ensure
patient acceptance and graft viability.

He performed is residency in ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye
Institute from 1980-1983. Subsequently, from 1983-1985, he received

“Given our current and ongoing commitment to biologics for
eye surgery, the addition of Dr. Batlle to our Surgical Advisory
